LORI
Founder, CEO, Interior Designer
WDG founder and company namesake knocks on your door with 30+ years of experience, and a killer team to boot. From your first meeting, Lori strives to find not only what you want, but what you truly need. Where you live and work have an impact on how you think, breathe, eat, sleep, act, and more. Good space is not only artistic, but scientific. Blending the new with the old, Lori not only has a vast knowledge of classic design, but the passion to discover new and innovative ideas to make your space fit like a glove.
Credentials: NCIDQ Certified, ASID Professional, State of Iowa Registered Interior Designer, BFA in Interior Design - University of Central Missouri
Fun fact: "I’m an avid SUP’er (Stand Up Paddleboard) and keep track of all of the bodies of water I’ve conquered!”
MEGAN
Interior Designer
Goal oriented and efficient, Megan won’t stop until your design is fully realized. You want a designer who finds custom cabinets and textiles riveting, just in case you don’t. Her space-planning skills allow her to see your project’s unseen possibilities. Megan finds the excitement of the ever-evolving design world contagious. Ready for any challenge, Megan takes pride in helping the WDG team find creative solutions to challenging spaces. She’s motivated, focused, and ready to conquer your design from first thought to final detail.
Credentials: ASID Associate, BA in Interior Design - University of Northern Iowa
Fun fact: "I enjoy starting my day with kickboxing and still draft my designs by hand.”
BRYLIE
Interior Designer
Brylie is proficient in delivering design solutions to clients with photo realistic illustrations using top notch technology. She strives for clients to feel that they are in good hands throughout the entire process. She focuses on the functionality of each space and the impact it has on the client's day-to-day life.
Credentials: AAS in Interior Design from Kirkwood Community College
Fun Fact: “I work part-time at a gym and have a strong passion for all aspects of fitness in addition to Interior Design.”
MACKENZIE
Junior Interior Designer
Prior to joining the WDG Team, Mackenzie worked in the mental health field. Her experience in human services gives her a deep understanding of how much a person’s physical and mental health is impacted by their built environment. Her life-giving and compassionate perspective is brought to every project.
Credentials: AAS in Interior Design from Kirkwood Community College
Fun fact: "I am obsessed with house plants and love to hike with my dog and play volleyball!”
GAVI
Junior Designer
Gavi was drawn to the design field after jumping in to remodeling projects in high school. As a Junior Designer on our team she brings her zest for creativity to the team. She collaborates closely with the other designers, leveraging her skills with advanced technology to create precise drawings and artful illustrations.
Credentials: AAS in Interior Design and Interior Architecture from Kirkwood Community College
Fun Fact: Spending time outdoors is high on Gavi’s list of priorities. Her favorite activity is hiking with fishing a close second. Next up on her list of fun things is refurbishing furniture!
Addison
Junior Designer
Addison, a Junior Designer on our team, has a passion for all things interior design. She finds joy in bringing her client’s vision to life with detailed plans, renderings, and artistic design sheets. With a love for material and furniture selections, she excels at creating spaces that are both functional and beautiful.
Credentials: AAS in Interior Design and Interior Architecture from Kirkwood Community College
Fun Fact: When she’s not designing, Addison might be cheering on her Dallas Cowboys or enjoying the beauty of the Mississippi River with her family.
EMMA
Design Intern
Emma’s journey into interior design began with a deep interest in understanding people’s needs and transforming spaces to reflect their unique personalities. She cherishes the creative freedom that design offers, combining conceptual imagery with materials.
Credentials: Emma has been interning with Wiles Design Group beginning in May of 2024. She will graduate in May 2025 with an AAS in Interior Design and Interior Architecture.
Fun Fact: Emma was a collegiate volleyball player and still loves the game. She enjoys spending time with her golden doodle, Hank, and staying active.
LAURA
Office Administrator
Laura is the Office Manager for Wiles Design Group, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Previously, Laura worked for three different schools within their administration and communications departments. She brings her top notch organizational skills and experience to the
WDG office.
In her spare time, Laura chases her twin boys around (literally) and attends her daughter's sporting events. She enjoys summer and spending time with family and friends at local events and attractions with her kids.
JENNIFER
Office Assistant
Jennifer brings an eclectic mix of experiences to the WDG office with a BS in Food Science and previous work in an ethanol lab and as a food scientist. Her knowledge of systems and love for learning lend her to be the perfect fit for keeping the admin side of the WDG office functioning efficiently - and with a friendly smile! You'll find her ordering samples, receiving shipments, sending out proposals, and chatting about her upcoming garden projects.
In her free time, Jennifer loves baking, reading historical fiction and growing a garden.
